HBO ringside scoring expert, Harold Lederman, weighs in on the Nov. 20 middleweight (160 pounds) rematch between Argentinian-born southpaw WBC titlist Sergio Martinez (pictured above, at left) and southpaw, former three-time champion Paul Williams (above, at right), who will meet at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
In December, Williams (39-1, 27 knockouts) won a disputed majority decision, this, after both he and Martinez (45-2-2, 24 KOs) were floored in the first round.
At 35 years old, Martinez has fought with a spirited talent that belies his age, having taken an unbeaten streak of 28-0-1, with 18 knockouts in to his match with Williams.
